Play Airsoft - Play Paintball

In March 2012 we added airsoft to our current range of activities.

What is airsoft?

Airsoft is similar to paintball with two teams attempting to complete various objectives (such as capture the flag, defend the base, etc.) which invariably ends up with them shooting each other.

The main difference is the equipment. Airsoft guns are more realistic than paintball markers or laser taggers and fire small plastic pellets called BBs. These pellets don’t leave a splat as with paintballs but you feel them hit you. The game relies on the players' honesty and players calling themselves “out".

Most airsoft venues offer a classic full day event with players either using their own equipment or hiring site equipment. At Operation Airsoft we are offering a 3 hour session including all equipment and a quantity of BBs. All these sessions will be individual so you will be playing amongst your own group and not mixed with other players

We also offer "open sessions" for players who own their own airsoft equipment. They are once a month and are organised by Camp Nomad Airsoft Club If you don't have your own equipment hire equipment will be available.  Booking is essential. Check out the open event page for further information

Operation Airsoft is the ideal venue for birthday parties, junior events, corporate events, school activities, stag and hen parties,team building, young guns, incentives and great days out.

Operation Airsoft is based at Powerplay Wakefield which is ideally located for Wakefield, Barnsley, Leeds, Huddersfield, Sheffield and Rotherham. Operation Airsoft is within an hour's drive from Manchester, York, Doncaster, Bradford, Halifax, Rochdale, Oldham and Nottingham
