Operation Laser Tag uses Adventure Sports hitech infra red equipment.  The equipment used is some of the most hitec equipment available to the laser tag market.

Operation Laser Tag offers a choice of four digital taggers

  • Talon which is a light weight robust weapon

  • XM-22 slightly heavier than the Talon and the most popular

  • Radar a smaller - lighter version of the XM-22  

  • Super Stinger and Stingers are the latest development in taggers


All our taggers incorporate DIGITAL Technology which increases the game play options and the after game analysis - You can see who shot you, how long you were in the game and how many rounds you fired. All our taggers have names so you could be Radar, Rambo, Gunny, Spike, Venom ....... for the session

Examples of what can be programmed into a tagger are:-

  • Number of lives

  • Number of clips and ammunition per clip

  • Delay time between hits

  • Respawns

  • Game time

  • Range

  • Friendly fire option

  • Rate of fire

  • Firing mode - Semi auto - Burst fire - Full auto

  • plus lots more......


All taggers have "scopes" and infra red detection head sets

 
 


Typical range of a Laser Tagger  is 150 metres in full sunlight  and 200+metres on a dull day.

There are no score cards or central computer. Each Tagger has a stand-alone computer and missions are scored by team results.

When playing paintball you can sustain bruises but with laser tag you are not hit by a projectile just a harmless infra red beam therefore no chance of bruising - unless you fall in the woods. The game is safe and fully insured.


There is no need to wear a mask, as required in a paintball game, just camouflage coveralls and a hat.

What should I wear?

As with paintball we supply a clean dry coverall to wear over your clothing. We would suggest you wear boots or sturdy footwear as all games are played in natural woodland. If you have gloves it is suggested you wear them (we do sell gloves on site). In case of inclement weather a change of footwear and possibly clothing is advisable; you don't want mud in the car from muddy boots.

What is included?

As paintball site operators Powerplay-Skirmish has always been open with oits pricing policy and there are no hidden costs. Operation Laser Tag operates the same policy.

  • Cap/Bush hat

  • Unlimited ammunition (subject to game formats)

  • Fixed cost per session

  • Insurance


The only additional costs are hot and cold drinks, bars of chocolate and hot food if required - camouflage face paint is available to purchase.

Adults can purchase smoke grenades for use on site to enhance games - under 18's are NOT allowed pyrotechnics.
