Paintball and Outdoor Laser Tag are ideal events for schools, youth groups and colleges.

  • Team building events

  • Reward/Incentive days

  • School activity days

  • Induction “ice breakers”

  • Inter class challenges

  • School excursions

Paintball events are only held at our Brighouse and Wakefield venues as we do not offer an off site facility. Laser tag events can be held at our two woodland venues or the new arena venue in Rochdale.  Alternatively we can bring Laser Tag to your location and organise an activity on a grassy field, all weather pitch or indoors in a sports centre.

We have organised numerous activities for schools and colleges and can accommodate groups from 10 to 100+ pupils depending on the activity and the location.

Prior to an event we can supply risk assessments, copies of our insurance policies, game consent forms, maps and other information you may require for your event. These documents are available on our "access restricted" page and you will need to email steve@playpaintball.co.uk for a password

Brighouse action

At Powerplay Paintball we can tailormake a package to suit the school/pupil budget.

All games are fully supervised by trained staff and we supply all the safety equipment needed to play paintball

Unfortunately several councils and schools will not allow pupils to play paintball BUT they do allow outdoor laser tag. This is not the indoor laser quest type game but is played outdoors in the woods or in an arena.

Games  will be structured depending on the numbers and age players.

Operation Laser Tag has a fully mobile facility that can be set up on a grassy field, all weather pitch and indoors in sports centres.

By using this facility we can organise end of term activity days for 30-150 pupils with the event running all day with pupils (and staff)  playing in teams of 8-9 players.

If you require additional activities for an activity day we have a paintball target range as well as several large “garden games”. The paintball target range uses stick “Velcro” type balls and these are shot at a sticky dartboard target. We can also arrange archery, human table football and “It’s a Knock Out” type activities

If you require further information please complete the enquiry form.

add extra activities

What age range are the activities?

Paintball players have to be in year 7 or above.  We do suggest that pupils under 14 years old play Outdoor Laser Tag.

Laser Tag players must be 9 years old and above. All players must complete a game consent form. These forms can be downloaded from the access restricted page or click here.

Group sizes and teacher ratios?

The minimum number of players for a mid week paintball game is 16 and for an on-site laser tag is 10 players. There are no minimum numbers for off-site laser tag sessions as these are charged per session and not per player
.
With all on-site events we offer one FREE teacher place for every 15 pupils. In the case of paintball the teacher will receive the same package that the pupils book.

What should players wear?

We suggest all players wear suitable outdoor activity footwear as games are played in natural woodland except  Rochdale which is a grassy field. We supply coveralls with all on-site games but suggest players wear clothing that could get wet and dirty and in winter, warm clothing. Gloves are advisable but we do sell paintball gloves on site
.
We do not supply camouflage coveralls when we organise laser tag events off site so suggest players wear comfortable clothing that they don’t mind getting dirty and wet.

Food and Drink?

Whilst we can supply food with full day activities at an additional cost (included with some paintball packages) most schools and youth groups choose not to include food and ask participants to bring a packed lunch. There is adequate outdoor seating areas for players to eat their picnic lunches.

We also have a shop on site that sells hot and cold drinks, chocolate and cookies.
