Yorkshire Outdoor Activity Centre - Wakefield is a woodland venue situated 2 minutes from Junction 38 on the M1. The site is less than half an hour from the centre of Wakefield, Leeds, Huddersfield, Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster. Wakefield like our Brighouse venue, is one of the most convenient venues in the North of England.

The site has several game scenarios:

Inferno - classic barricade field
Slim Jim - a woodland speedball field
Salad Bowl - Fantastic woodland field
Missile Map - woodland field with lots of undergrowth
Rourke's Drift - Attack and defend the compound
Alpha Base - Attack a stockade and raise the flags
Pyramid of Kenny Ra - Pyramids of various sizes
"Staargate" themed game - tribute to one of the best TV series

Directions

Leave the M1 at junction 38 and take the exit signposted "Woolley Edge". This will take you through Haigh village on Haigh Lane.
When you have passed through the village the entrance to the site is approx 250 mts on the left hand side. The entrance is through a farm gate and then turn sharp right and follow the track to the car park and safe area

Nearest post code - S75 4DA - please note this is the nearest local house about 250mts from the venue

Beware - If you type Haigh Lane into your SatNav it will probably take you to Flockton Village which is about 4 miles from the site alos we are not on Dnby Dale road that is another venue
